Sugar Plum Farms is located off Hwy. 19-E near Plumtree, North Carolina. We are a family owned and operated North Carolina Fraser Fir Christmas tree farm. Our trees are native to North Carolina. All our trees are hand planted, hand fertilized, and hand sheared. After 7 to 9 years in the field, our North Carolina Fraser Fir trees are hand selected and carefully handled to insure long lasting aroma, incomparable needle retention, stronger branches and dark green needles.
We pass by our beautiful North Carolina Fraser fir Christmas trees 10 to 12 times every year to insure quality. Our trees have brought us recognition and we would love to share them with you!
A special thanks to all our customers who enjoyed our North Carolina Fraser fir Christmas trees and greenery last year. Not only are we a family owned and operated company, we are customer service oriented. Our goal is to provide you with the highest quality, freshest holiday greenery on the market today. Just before your ship date your tree is harvested; with great care it is put into a specially designed box to lock in the freshness. Within hours it is rushed by UPS or Federal Express to your home or office. Our customers are our best advertising, so please tell a friend about us.

James Pitts, owner and operator of Sugar Plum Farms, has served two years as president of the North Carolina Christmas Tree Association. He is currently on the Board of Directors. He and his wife Helen, along with their friends Henry and Trudy Helms, have won first place numerous times at the National Gallery of Trees Decorating Contest.
James and Helen are very committed to "Growing Green." They as firm believer in Integrated Pest Management and do everything possible on their beautiful Christmas tree farm to insure that the environment is protected.
